Below is a collection of projects we’ve recently completed.

1964 Chevrolet Impala

This build epitomises the quality people have come to expect from Switches and Thangs. See this car getting beaten all around the streets of Toronto.
  • Full wrapped patterned and molded Frame
  • Full chrome undercarriage
  • Forged 383 stroker / Edelbrock aluminum heads / chrome Accel Super Ram intake
  • Patterns by Kandy and Chrome
  • House of Kolor paint
  • OG Zenith 13s
  • Four pump hydraulic setup

Black Berry

1999 Lincoln Towncar

This is the car that put Switches and Thangs (and some would say Toronto) on the map. It was originally built as a street car but continued to become more and more radical as the years went on and the inches crept higher. Did mid 70’s on the stick and turned some heads along the way.
  • Full wrapped frame
  • Full chrome undercarriage
  • Four pump hydraulic setup
  • 16 Batteries

Cuatro Ocho

1948 Chevrolet Fleetline

This car proved to be a difficult build as the owner wanted to keep it as OG as possible. That meant keeping the inline six and three speed as well as leaving the floors untouched. Problem is the torque tube rear end had to be replaced to fit his side skirts. We installed a G body rear end and machined a custom tailshaft with a retaining plate on the back of the three speed. The air ride system was again a challenge as the owner wanted four switches as if it were a hydraulics setup. We machined a custom manifold and plumbed everything old school with individual dumps, then wrapped it up with stainless hard lines.
  • Full custom air suspension system with hardlines
  • Custom trans tailstock and driveshaft
  • G-body rear end with in house fabricated flip kit and bag mounts
